Where I blog . . .
This is where I research ingredients, find trail information, and keep in touch with all of you before I hit the shut down button on my laptop and head out to the garden, into the kitchen, off to the mountains, or just upstairs to get my kids dressed and ready for the day.
A plain spot I know. But this is not where I draw my inpiration. This is where I relax, unwind, unload, and connect with you after chasing my passions around all day. It's cozy.

CRACKING UP. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteOf all the link pictures, yours made me stop and click! To funny...because I wouldn't put it past me to do the same thing!
ReplyDeleteOk,, What is that green blow up baloonie thingie your wearing? Does it take off the weight or what?
ReplyDeleteSo this is what you look like when you blog?
Let me go read more!
Sandy
Sandy, the "green blow up baloonie thingie" is just about the fanciest, most technical down Mountain Hardwear sleeping bag that money can buy (not my money, it's on loan from U.S. Outdoor Store).
ReplyDeleteI had backpacking on the brain that day and just had to get my sleeping bag fix before giving it back to U.S. Outdoor!
But thanks for the laugh! I do look like I'm in some sort of crazy inflatable cocoon that fisherman use in the Bering Strait to keep from drowning! Ah perspective!
I'm with Cortney, I scrolled down everyone else's picture, but clicked on yours. Because I miss backpacking so much!!! I'll get back out there, but only went once this summer (and that was car-camping, but better than nothing) because I had a baby in April. But we did manage several day hikes. Looking forward to peeking through your blog. I'm from WA, yeah for the Northwest!
ReplyDeleteLindsay, thanks so much for explaining your gear... my son is one of those people who saves people like you out in the wilderness.. I wish I could send you a photo of him.. he lived in Juneau and jumped out of choppers to rescue those stranded and in trouble....he is now a Lt. USCG and loves the great outdoors!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and not an outdoor kinda girl but I have lots of respect for the adventure in your soul!
Sandy
Sorry.. I tried o click and become a follower but this is what it said to me.. "The requested URL /friendconnect/signin/home... is too large to process". ??
ReplyDeleteI'll try again later
Sanady
I added myself to follow your blog. You are more than welcome to visit mine and become a follower if you want to.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless You ~Ron
Hilarious, I really enjoy your blog! I don't get a chance to comment often, but I'm reading it often!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments and Follower clicks! And thanks Sandy for letting your son jump out of choppers for people like me even though I hope I'm never one of "those" people!
ReplyDeleteJosh and Laura - we loved camping when our kiddos were babies - it's when they're toddlers that they get even tougher! But the more you do it, the more they get used to it and it becomes a lot more fun!
Like the others, I saw the photo and had to click. I am just coming in from camping, am exhausted and am ready to sleep. I'll visit others tomorrow, but YOU I had to check out tonight. I can imagine a tiny slit for fingers to poke through and type.
ReplyDeleteThanks for ending my day with a laugh.
This is SO FUNNY! Love it. hahaha.
ReplyDeleteas soon as i saw your pic, i clicked on it! you are a hoot!
ReplyDeleteI love that you shared this and thanks for keeping it real.
